The tailgate party starts at 5pm with face painting, cornhole, and performers the Apple Bottom Gang. Hillbilly, honky-tonk, country and western music, both covered and original, played with a wink and a smile. Songs by fellers named Buck and Hank and Ernest and Lefty and Johnny (both Cash and Horton). This is a big gang with a big sound. It’s a very-table hillbilly orchestra!
Then stick around and watch the Buckeyes season opener versus Notre Dame on the big screen.
Want game tokens for contributing to good causes?
Donate an unopened case of diapers to the diaper drive! Every unopened case of diapers is good for $5 in game tokens. This is a great way to help families in need by providing items not covered by government assitance programs. Donated diapers will be distributed to either the Women’s Care Center or PDHC. Cases of diapers or wipes can be donated at the volunteer booth towards the back of the church building by the back parking lot.
St. Vincent de Paul is also collected canned goods for the food pantry. For every can you’ll recieve 1 game token. Drop off your canned good donations at the St. Vincent de Paul booth by the school building.
Volunteer signups close Wednesday at midnight: www.saintmichaelfestival.com/volunteers
